From my Collectors

"I am the proud owner of six of your originals, and love every one of them.  Your use of color is what draws me to your art. I have dabbled in pastels myself in the past, so I understand the artistry it requires to get the clean and clear colors that typify your work."  - Julie

We own three of your landscapes and one abstract.  All of them give me a sense of space and serenity.  The glowing bright colors are exuberant.  The first two we bought were of oncoming storms across open plains. I could almost feel the wind and rain coming. I guess that's why we come back for more.   —  Diana from Colorado

"Your artwork is something I love to look at every day.  I think the colors are what I love the most and I never tire of the vibrancy and depth of each piece.  I have many pieces of art that I just grew tired of after a few years, but yours seem timeless!"   —  Patti from Denver

"I fell in love with the vibrant colors and harmony you achieve in your work. Your abstract works are very complex and it is that complexity that draws me to them for further inspection. The landscapes also are a delight to view, drawing me in for a moment of escape that makes the experience very zen-like. I am always amazed that your rich, vibrant colors actually have a calming effect on me, something that seems counter-intuitive, when I think about it! However, even your small studies have a lot of depth and it may be the depth that creates room for the viewer to become one with the work.    - Pat

"We bought 'Periwinkle Twilight' in Southlake, Texas at the Art in the Square festival. That year was the year of our 25th wedding anniversary. We decided to buy art instead of taking a trip like we normally would have. We bought the painting in April – three months before our anniversary. We then made plans to visit our parents the weekend of our anniversary. Unfortunately my father-in-law had an accident the day we drove to their house. He was in the hospital a couple of days and passed away on the day of our anniversary. God was in all of the details. God put it on our hearts to buy art and not travel that weekend. He knew exactly where we needed to be. We are so grateful that we were not traveling and we were able to spend time with my father-in-law. Perriwinkle Twilight is now more special because of that.  —  Sylvia and Scott from Texas

"My husband and I have followed and enjoyed your artwork for years. We first saw you at Celebration of Art in Scottsdale, AZ several years ago. What caught my attention and spirit was the bold colors, done in pastels. Then the landscapes, mountains, creeks... all my favorite nature subjects! We finally purchased a landscape, that we named “Rocky Mountain High”....It is in my bedroom at home in Indiana, greeting me each morning with the invitation to float down the creek into the forested mountains!    - Pat from Indiana

"I first saw your work at the Cherry Creek Arts Festival in Denver.  We bought a large piece that hangs in our house in Evergreen, Colorado.  I love the rich colors, and I appreciate the landscape because it reminds me of what I love.  We get so many compliments from everyone who sees it.  If I had more money, my house would be filled with your work.    - Michelle from Denver

"I own a piece "Bridges of Gold"  from your city scape series.  Purchased at Highland Park show.  I have spoken with you a few times in AZ at some local shows when I am in town and used to come out for the big tent show. I was drawn to the rich intense color especially the pastels work also the ethereal quality of the vision. I buy all types of art but always prefer those showing the true craft of the hand-painting, drawing, clay work.   — Douglas from Chicago

We love all the paintings we purchased from you. The first was a landscape from the Naperville Art Show. We selected it for the home we were building in Twin Lakes, WI. The second was the Art Institute Lion purchased at your open house in Wheaton.  The third was an abstract from the show in Cave Creek you had with Carlos Page. All different, but all beautiful.   - Norma from Illinois

My husband and I own three originals of yours - all of which we love greatly!

I was drawn originally to your landscapes and eventually to your abstract artworks. In both cases, it is your palette and strokes of the pastel that captivate me. The intense colors and angular shapes are beautiful! The pieces we own are all abstracts - but I’d like to make some wall space for a landscape piece! And one more thing I’ll add... your abstracts inspired me so much that I am learning abstract art after a lifetime doing hyperrealism. If you ever offer classes in pastels, I’d be very interested in participating. I truly hope to see you and your work in person at a show soon - I miss those connections!   - Lisa from Texas
